Monica's Surprise Baby Shower Blog Hop

Welcome to Monica's Surprise Baby Shower Blog Hop!  Our friend Monica from Monica's Creative Madness will soon be welcoming a new little boy to her family, so some of us got together to throw her this surprise hop.  We're all making scrapbook layouts that she can use to keep up with all of the memories of the first year with her little sweetie.

If you arrived here from Melody's blog , you are in the right place.  If you stumbled upon my post and would like to start from the beginning, head on over to the Cameo Creations Blog.  Be sure to stop by each an every blog along the way for tons of baby album inspiration.  Plus, there's bound to be some awesome blog candy up for grabs!

First, I would like to say how excited I am for my very good friend Monica and her husband on the soon arrival of their baby boy. They are truly blessed to start a new chapter in their lives which is becoming parents. Therefore, I want to share 2 8x8 Scrapbook layouts that I have created for her.

The first layout is Baby's First Food. The layout illustrates an adorable baby boy made with Baby's Steps Cricut Cartridge. I added some cute food theme stickers. She is able to find that perfect picture of his very first meal.

The second layout is Mom & Baby Layout. For her that she will be a first time mommy, I can see her taking some fun photos with her baby boy. So I would love for her to add a memorable photo to this layout.

I truly feel that she is blessed to have so many great friends to create a special album for her. I know that she will be devoted to her baby and for the time being not being able to craft. So this will be the perfect and easiest way for her to add pictures to handmade layouts from each of us.

Blog Candy:
I will provide one lucky winner to win these 2 cute pack of Baby Stickers.

Baby Theme Card

Hello friends! Are you having a fabulous night? I'm sitting here in my craft room relaxing after working on some cards! Can you believe I have been posting more projects this week. Hoping it stays that way! I know in a few weeks, things will start getting busy for me again. I have the after-school program starting up again and I will be working with 4th & 5th Graders. That should be fun! Good thing is that my kiddos who were in my group before know what I expect. :) Anywhoo, I made this card for a Teacher that I work with. She just found out she is having a girl. So I wanted to make a special card for her. Lucky for me, another friend of mine saw the card I made and wants to purchase one. So that means, I need to get right on it and make some more. So hope you all like it.

Valentine Bear Treat

Click Here to enter in my Celebrating 2 years Blogaversary Giveaway!

Happy Monday! Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Probably many of us were off today! I work at a school so we have this Holiday Off. I spent my day with my Niece shopping and spending some quality time together. Tonight, I felt eager to create something which is a great feeling. I wanted to participate in some challenge out there. I know that Peachy Keen is having a fun challenge right now which is to create a 3-D Project that includes a Bear. The challenge closes tomorrow or Wednesday I believe. Be sure to head over their site to double check.

For my project, I wanted to make a Valentine Treat Basket. I bought a pack of Basket from the Dollar Tree. I took one of those basket and decorated with Pink Card Stock and Valentine Designer Paper. Then, I cut a Bear at Size 4.5 from Create a Critter. I decided to make the bear's outfit by using paper and measuring it to the body of the bear. I use the DCWV Guy Stack Designer Paper for the Shirt. Then, I used a White Gel pen to create a belt and pockets on the pants. I also added some black shoes. Then, I added a Tie Brad from Eyelet Outlet Company. I used my Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face for the bear. The face was size 1-3/8. Then, I used some of my color chalk for the cheeks to make it blush. I took a Red Stripe Paper Straw and attached it to the bear. I added a Red Heart and stamped the Saying "Pawsitively Love You" from K. Andrews: All About Animals Stamp Set. Lastly, I filled the basket with red tissue and mini Snickers. Great gift for a guy to give their sweetheart for Valentine's Day.

Valentine = Love Layout

Click Here to enter in my Celebrating 2 years Blogaversary Giveaway!

Happy Saturday night everyone! Hope everyone had a nice week. Tonight, I got to spend sometime again in my craft room and wanted to keep up with making scrapbook layouts again. I am making an album specifically showcasing events that take place in 2013. My goal is to keep up with scrapbooking as much as I love making cards.

The layout I would like to show all of you today is a Valentine's Day Layout! Hubby and I are still figuring out what we will be doing that day! Even though everyday is Valentine's Day for us because we make sure we say I love you. LOL I know, I probably sound cheesy. Anywhoo, I hope you all like my layout.

Materials Used:
12 x 12 Black Card Stock
12 x 12 Love Design Paper: I cut about less than an inch from each side.
4.5 x 6.5 Heart Writing Paper
5 x 7 Pink Card Stock
5-1/4 x 7-1/4 Black Card Stock
Valentine Embellishments
Create a Critter Cartridge: Heart Size 3 or 4

Loved how my layout turned out! Let see what I will be creating next time. So stay tuned! Have a fabulous night everyone!

Celebrating my 2nd Blogaversary!

 Happy New Year friends!
Happy 2nd Year Blogaversary to me!

Today marks another year for my blog. Throughout these two years on my blog, I have been on some amazing design teams and have also met amazing crafters either in person or through the blogs. I can thank you enough for your amazing comments, visits, and for being a follower of my blog.

Unfortunately, I felt like I have lost my mojo to craft since Thanksgiving. I have been so busy with my personal life that I haven't been able to find time to make cards, scrapbook, or craft anything special that comes to mind. I do tend to make projects when I attend crops with my friends. But, slowly I will start coming back to my blog. Trust me, I do miss being on here. With that said, I have spent the day in my craft room for once and created several cards for Valentine's Day and a Baby Shower Card for a friend who's daughter is having a baby girl next month. I hope you all like it. I will also do a small giveaway to celebrate my 2nd Year Blogaversary!
