Who wants Birthday Cake?

Happy Friday everyone! Yay! Im happy to finally get my weekend started. Later in the morning, my husband and I will be meeting up with my husband's co-workers to watch the movie "The Hunger Games!" Now, unfortunately I haven't read the book, but maybe I will have to now. Either way, I'm really excited to go watch it. So many fun things planned for me this weekend. On Saturday, I will be attending a Stampin Up Event called "Mommy and Me Card Class hosted by my fellow Die Cuttin Divas DT Member Nikki from Creations by Mommy. Since I am not a mom, I still wanted to attend. So I decided to take my niece Briana who is 8 years old and also love to join me sometimes in my craft room to make cards. So I call it an Auntie and Niece Day! Then on Sunday, I will be having a Craft Day at my house where my BFF's will be coming by to craft on anything they like. Wow! This shows how much I will be doing. One day, I do want to have a Crop Day for Blogger Friends who are in town or live locally. So we will see! I will start looking into that and let you all know. Alright, enough chit chatting, let's get to the card that I would love to showcase to you.

A week ago, one of my friends recently celebrated her birthday! I thought that it would be nice to mail out a card to her. My idea behind this card is that I wanted to create something not related to the cricut. I hope everyone likes it.

Birthday Card

 For my card, I used this beautiful Stampin Up Designer Paper. Then, I added some brown wood paper which describes the floor.

Then, I decided to create a table setting showcasing a Birthday Cake brad from the Eyelet Outlet Company.

 Then, I created this fun chandelier hanging above the dining table.

 After, I stamped a cat image onto white card stock. And I cut around it and placed it on top. Then I stamped the sentiment  of my card with My Pink Stamper: Sweet Goodness Stamp Set.

Baby Shower Card

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope everyone is having a great day! As I mention earlier this week, I worked on several cards/projects. So today I wanted to post a card that I made for a friend of mine who is having a Baby Shower next weekend. For this card, I wanted to create a Baby Mobile, which is like the ones that goes over all the crib. Hope everyone likes it.

Mickey Mouse Toon Town

Hi everyone! It's been a raining day here in Southern California. I've spent most of my day crafting. Therefore, this week I will be showcasing a project for the next few days. For this first project, my younger sister came over my house and wanted me to help create a Disney Layout for her since my sister and her boyfriend went to Disney two days ago. One of the many things she did was visiting Mickey Mouse at his house in Toon Town and took a picture with him which she will display later. I taught my sister how to layer the pieces on Mickey Mouse. Then, I wanted to add a boy and girl from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge as they hold a Caramel Apple. When this layout was eventually finished, I truly loved how it turned out. In the end, I wanted to keep it to myself. But, I know this is a great layout for my sister. I hope to help her make a few more layouts of her Day in Disney.

Girly You Rock!

Hi friends! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I've been enjoying my Spring Break So far. Last weekend my husband and I took off to Vegas for two days. We went to see the Blue Man Group at the Venetian. It was so much fun. Then, I've pretty much been busying cleaning the house and stuff. But, I finally got some time to work on a card.

Therefore, I wanted to share a card I made for my beautiful niece who I adore very much. She is in High School and I've got the chance to talk to her over the weekend as she needed someone to talk to.. So I took the time to make a card for her to remind her how awesome she is. I know she will love it.

Guest Designer for Decorate to Celebrate: Easter Challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am super excited and honored to be a Guest Designer for Decorate to Celebrate today! Easter is quickly approaching. How many of you have started thinking about what you plan to do on Easter Sunday with your little ones or for that day in general. Well look no further, over at Decorate to Celebrate, they have a great challenge taking place today. The theme is "Easter Party"(any decoration or party supply for an Easter Theme Party)!Please Note: No Cards or Layouts. Party Invitations and Place Cards are acceptable. Thank you.

Easter Theme Party Ideas:

When planning an Easter Party, you think about decorations, Easter baskets, Easter Treats, or yummy food to serve. For my project, I wanted to create an adorable centerpiece for the table where you will have all the yummy treats being served. I purchased this artificial tree at Target in the $1 bin. Then, I took a trip to the Dollar Store and purchase some Mini Easter Ornaments to hang up on the tree. They had a variety of cute ornaments. But my favorite were these Mini Easter Carrots and Mini Colorful Glitter Easter Eggs. Lastly, I cut out a Bunny at Size 4 using my Simply Charmed Cartridge and added it the center of the Easter Centerpiece.

For the Easter Party Favors, I purchased a set of Turquoise Pails from the Target $1 bin. Don't you just love the dollar section at Target. I definitely do. I placed some Easter grass inside and filled it with some goodies. Then, I cut a bunny once again from the Simply Charmed cartridge but at Size 5. Then I attached a Mini Carrot from the extras I had of the mini ornaments. I thought it turned out so cute.

Roar! The Circus is in town!

Happy Thursday everyone! I am officially on Spring Break. We start our one week vacation and return back to work the last week of March. I'm ready for some fun and relaxation. This Sunday, my husband and I will be taking a mini trip to Vegas so we are super excited. Plus, I also look forward to doing some crafting.

Anyways, enough about me. I got to spend sometime in my craft room as I listen to Pandora crafting. Here is this cute and fun 3-D Circus Train carrying a fearless Lion. Well not so fearless, I believe he is adorable. As I started to make this, I wasn't sure if I wanted it to be part of a card, but then I realize that wouldn't it be fun if it was 3-D. Even my husband loved how it turned out. Let me know what you think.

3-D Circus Lion

 To create this 3-D Circus Cart: I used the Everyday Pop Up Cards Cartridge where I cut out the Circus Cart at 4. I cut at least 2 of the first layer of the cart for the front and back cart. (Hope that made sense). Then, I used my Create a Critter Cartridge to cut out the Lion at Size 2. I used several pieces of blue paper and glued it to the sides and bottom of the cart for it too look 3-D. Then, I folded some paper for tabs to hold the lion. Once the lion was placed in the cart, I then added some doors to both side which were created with card stock. I added some Black Pearls as they represent the door handles.

 Then of course, I added some Prima Flowers to the cart.
