If not, I would love for you to the start from the beginning with our host Sylvia. The month of February is quickly approaching which means that LOVE is in the air, couples are coming together to spend time together, and students are thinking about what special treats they can give out to their classmates. But if you are single, you don't have to spend Valentine's Day alone, having your loved ones and great friends around you even makes the day wonderful. With that said, this hop will bring you some great ideas on what to create for the special Holiday. Hope that you take the time to hop around to be inspired of the wonderful creations that everyone on this Blog Hop have made.

Since I work in a Kindergarten class, I wanted to make a special treat for the students. I decided to make a Valentine Treat Favor. As I look around my cartridges, I decided to go with one of my top favorites which is Create a Critter! I wanted to choose an image that describes Valentine so I picked out the heart that has wings. It is found on page 66 of the Ladybug. Then, I bought a pack of Glow Sticks from the $1 bin at Target and created this which I hope you like.

Sweet Stamping Treats "Highlights" Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to Sweet Stamping Treats "Highlights" Blog Hop. This hop is all about highlighting some of our favorite stamps from Sweet Stamping Treats. If you arrived here from Amber's blog you are in the right place. If you want to start from the beginning please go to Sweet StampingTreats. This hop is full of great projects and prizes! Sweet Stamping Treats is giving away the entire January release to one lucky hopper who is a follower of Sweet Stamping Treats and comments on all of the blogs in the hop. Plus, there are some single stamps "hidden" in a few of the blogs along the way. For a chance to win one of the singles you must comment on their blogs and be a follower of their blogs too.

I would also like to thank Amber and Sweet Stamping Treats for having me part of their blog hop. I really enjoyed seeing all the amazing images that you can work with. It is always hard to just choose one as they are all really great. This is my first time working with a digi stamp or being introduced to digi stamps. I had alot of fun working with it which I am now ready to share the card I made using this particular stamp.

My project today is made with the "Love Banner" stamp:

This image worked perfectly for me to create a Valentine's card for the special person in my life. I thought a banner would be perfect to describe Love. I used my Copic Markers and Stamps by Judith Markers to add color to the banner. I also used the 3D Crystal Lacquer to ad the 3D Effect. Again, this was my first time using the 3D Lacquer which I really liked how it turned out and plan on using it again for future projects.

Materials Used:

White Card Stock for card: 5 x 6
Pink Card Stock: 4-3/4 x 5-3/4
Sweet Stamping Treats Digi Stamp: Love Banner
3D Crystal Lacquer
Stamps By Judith: Tombow Acid Free Watercolor Markers
Copic Markers: E11 Barley Beige, RV23 Pure Pink

Die Cuttin Divas: Squirrel Appreciation Day

If you are looking for my Blogaversary/ 500 Follower Giveaway: Click Here.

Welcome to Die Cuttin Divas Tuesday Challenge!

Hi everyone! We enjoyed seeing all the wonderful projects everyone made for the last challenge. You have done an incredible job. We would love to welcome you back to another new challenge this week.

Our new challenge this week is for the following:
Squirrel Appreciation Day ... Let's use a squirrel on our project this week.

When : Always January 21st

Squirrel Appreciation Day is an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate your tree climbing, nut gathering neighborhood squirrels. It's held in mid-winter when food sources are scarce for squirrels and other wildlife. Sure, squirrels spent all fall gathering and "squirreling " away food. But, their supplies may not be enough. And, the variety of food is limited. So, give them an extra special treat today to supplement their winter diets.

We would love to see what project you can create that include this cute luttle critter. Be sure to include the name of the cartridge you used for your cut. Now onto showing you the card that I made.

I made this cute friendly card that can be given for any occasion. I plan on giving it to my husband because when I showed him the card, the first thing he said was "Babe, I want that card." So I guess he will getting the card. For my card, I used one of my top favorite cartridges which is Create a Critter for the Squirrel. Then I used Give a Hoot Cartridge for the Trees. Also, thanks to one of your sponsors: Eyelet Outlet & Brads Company, I used their ladybug brads. Aren't they cute. For more info on how you can purchase some of these cute brads, please check out their link: http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/.

Materials Used:
Yellow Card Stock for card: 4.5 x 6.5
Green Card Stock
Cloud Paper
Create a Critter Cartridge: Squirrel Size 3.5
Give a Hoot Cartridge: Tree (2) Size 3.5
Eyelet Outlet & Brad Company: Lady Bugs

So what are you waiting for, please hop over to Die Cuttin Divas and check out the amazing projects the Design Team has made. I know it will inspire you to create. I look forward to seeing what everyone creates. Have a great day!
