Marvin the Martian has arrived...

Happy June 1st! I can't believe we are in the month of June.Super excited because the countdown begins till my birthday arrives which won't be till the last week of the month of June. Still planning of what great Birthday giveaway I will be having.. So be sure to tune in towards the last week of June..

Anyhoo, I would like to showcase a quick card I made for my sister a few days ago for her boyfriend who celebrated a birthday. I used K. Andrews New Release Stamp Set: Southern Sayings. Let me tell you, I had so much fun with this stamp set because the sentiment I chose for this card had me practice saying it in a Loony Toon voice. LOL Not my best  but have to be silly somehow. Now, you might ask why I am saying this in a Loony Toon Voice, and the reason being is that she wanted me to make a Marvin the Martian Card. It was somewhat of a challenge, because as you know there is no cartridge such as this. So I had to go through my cartridges and see which one worked best. The best cartridge to create Marvin the Martian was the Everyday Paper Dolls. Here is my take on it. Let me know what you think.

Marvin the Martian Birthday Card

I cut the body at Size 3.5 or 4. I can't remember. LOL Then, I used different outfits to create the right outfit for Marvin the Martian. For the skirt, I cut the ballerina dress in shadow, and cut the bottom skirt which is what I only needed. For the helmet, I also cut it in a Shadow cut. And for the shoes, I cut the boots and just trimmed them to make them shorter boots. Hope that made sense.
For the sentiment, I used K. Andrew New Stamp Release: Southern Sayings and selected the sentiment "Well I Declare." For the inside of the card, I also used the same stamp set and picked the words "It's and Your" and also used some of the words and put it together to make the word Birthday.
