Happy Leap Year Everyone! Wow, I can't believe how quickly February is ending and March is quickly approaching. Last night, my brother who is 2 years younger than me wanted to come over my house to teach him how to make a handmade card for his girlfriend. I told him, "Sure thing, come over and let's see what we can put together." You can say, it was definitely an adventure brainstorming the card he wanted to create. Of course my sweet brother had fun taking out all the cartridges and deciding which two he wanted, but leaving the rest of the cartridges laying out.LOL So you can just imagine what my craft room looks like now, which I decided to clean up later. Anywho, my brother came acrooss this great idea to create a card showcasing a doll with a great wardrobe of fabulous outfits that can be interchangable. He selected several outfits from the cartridge: Paper Dress Up Dolls and he added velcro to each outfit so that his girlfriend can change the outfit on the doll. What a smart idea. My sister-n-law who is my husband's sister was also there helping my brother give him ideas of what outfits he might want to select. Either way, I can say it was a group effort but overall, my brother made this card. I of course added the image for the front of the card using Rock Princess Cartridge. I know my brother's girlfriend will love the card he made her. Especially, because it was made by him and not by me. I was only there to guide him and supervise what he was doing.

Hi everyone! This weekend was so much fun as my friends and I planned a fun weekend attending the Scrapbook Expo. We did the Crop Night on Saturday which was filled with many ladies & gentlemen ready to scrap away. As I walked around to see the many things that people bring to the Crop Night, I was amazed to see everything they bring. At first I thought I brought alot, but I was wrong. It definitely was a fun Crop Night. Since the theme was Pampered Scrapper Crop Night, they brought in a Masseuse and someone who does manicures. But of course, it wasn't free! Either way, it was fun. Also, the Scrapbook Expo went around to interview those who were doing their first Crop Night there in Anaheim. My friends and I were interviewed so let's see if they posted it. LOL The following day we went shopping and I loved shopping on Sunday because it wasn't crowded and you were able to look at everything without bumping into people. I found some great stuff and did pretty well spending. I also ran into one of my blogger friends Tammy from Creations by Zajc. Overall, I had a fabulous time and here are a few photos of the fun filled weekend. I look forward to doing it again when they are down here in Ontario, CA.
My Best Friend Marisela who is a wonderful crafter.
Our table packed with everything we need to scrap away.

I'm never been to the wilderness or camping in the woods for that matter. I've always wanted to try it but I always had the fear that bears or coyotes would attack. LOL But, I do have to face my fears sometime. With that said, I wanted to try something new that describes the wilderness in a whole different way. I wanted to create something using a canvas with Cricut Images. In this canvas, I displayed a setting with what I think happens in the wilderness. Often people would fish by the lake, as wood creatures come out to say "Hello" in their own unique way. For this, I decided to place a rabbit fishing by the lake in the woods as the rabbit and deer glance at him. I really enjoyed creating something using a canvas. This is perfect to display on your walls at home. I plan on purchasing more canvases and creating more projects that can even be given as gifts. Hope everyone likes it.
Welcome to my blog and the baby blog hop. Are you a soon to be mommy, an already mommy, or a friend who is planning a baby shower party but don't know where to start. Will look no further, as this hop will provide ideas and inspirations on Baby Decor, Cards, and more.
For my project, I wanted to create a fun favor for a baby shower party or it could even be as a gift for a soon to be mommy. I created this adorable baby ornament. I purchased several ornaments during the After Christmas Sale, and I thought, wouldn't be a good idea to create these adorable baby shower favors using an ornament. So I decided to take a clear plastic ornament and fill it with beautiful Prima flowers. Then, I took some Tulle and stuffed it in a bit before I place the cover of the ornament. Then, I used my new Baby Steps Cartridge and cut the baby girl image cut on page 22. Then, I used a set of the Crafty Sprouts Stamp Set: Rock that Baby Bump and stamped the sentiment: "Coming Soon: to a cradle near you." I thought that was the perfect saying for this favor. Then I hot glued the baby girl onto the ornament with the saying underneath her. I then attached a piece of Pink Spool Ribbon for the holder of the ornament. Such a cute and fun favor to give out.

I'm here today at the Die Cuttin' Divas blog to showcase a cartridge that I recently purchase a month ago and have been dying to finally try it out. This cartridge has so many adorable images which go perfectly for baby shower party decor, invitations, layouts, and more. This cartridge is perfect for those who are becoming first time mommies. I am not a mommy yet but hopefully one day I will be blessed with a family. But for now, I enjoy creating cards for friends of mines who are blessed with a new addition to their family. This cartridge has adorable baby boy and baby girl cuts, as well as things that babies need.
