Card Donation for Cause as seen at My Pink Stamper

Hi everyone! I came upon a post on Robyn's My Pink Stamper Site that talks about making homemade cards for women who are Breast Cancer Survivors. This wonderful person named Kathy is sponsoring a breakfast brunch for the wonderful women who have gone through or are going through Breast Cancer. She is asking if we can take this time to send cards for the women as they will be placed at each table so that when the women arrive, they will each have a wonderful card to read and remember. I wanted to create a card that will remind at least one woman what strong person she is and that she should never loose faith. To remind her that no matter what, she is a Survivor. I am entering this into My Pink Stamper as she would love to see the cards that we have made. If you would like to make a card for this great cause, be sure to head over to My Pink Stamper to get the info as to where to mail the card. I know that each of us can make a difference in the lives of these women

I'm a SURVIVOR Card
A2 Card
Pink Sparkly Card Stock
Me & My Big Ideas Soft Spoken Embellishments: Survivor

Thank you for visiting, and again be sure to take this time to make a card that can make a difference in someone's live or bring a smile to them.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #30: Fall

Welcome to Die Cuttin Divas Tuesday Challenge!

Hi everyone! Wow! Can you believe it. Another hot day in Southern California. I love Summer but I'm definitely ready for Fall to come around. Speaking of Fall, our challenge today at Die Cuttin Diva, the Design Team and I created some beautiful cards and layouts showcasing Autumn. A beautiful time when the leaves start changing and a slight breeze takes place. I wanted to create a card that illustrates what Fall is like especially those who are in love with this season. I plan on giving this card to the Assistant Principle in our school. I worked with her for two years when she was a Kinder Teacher. I always love to hear how she describes Fall Season and how she looks forward to that season. I also used two brads from our sponsor: Eyelet Outlet & Brad Company which are an Acorn and a Squirrel. Last week, I was excited because Eyelet Outlet featured my Teacher Card that I made last week for our Teacher Challenge on their Eyelet Outlet Website Gallary. I felt very honor to know that they loved my card. I am also entering this into their contest they are having on their Facebook Page: Eyelet Outlet Company in which they are asking to create a card using their products.

Cricut360 Challenge #9: Relax

Happy Friday everyone! It's been really hot here in Southern California. Today temperature is said to be 105 degrees or so. Too Hot! I love Summer but not when it's too hot. But, Summer is definitely winding down and Labor Day is just around the corner. So what great way to start thinking about what to do for Labor Day is to take a day to relax. Needs ideas on what to do or what to create on a relaxing day. Then hop over to Cricut 360 and see what the Design Team and I have made for this great challenge. I know that some families or people love to go fishing at a lake or park. I created a Mini Scrapbook Page where you can include a picture that captures that fun & relaxing moment. Hope you everyone loves it!

Relax Mini Layout:
Simply Charmed: Fishing Size 1.5 or 2
Prima Road Trip 6 x 6 Paper Pack
SP & Company Mix & Match Sentiment: Holiday Stamp Set: Labor Day

I hope you enjoyed my Mini Layout and don't forget to check out the other amazing cards/ layouts the Design Team has made. Trust me, you will love them. Once you have been inspired and created a project for our challenge. Be sure to link it for a chance to win a prize. Now, I am looking forward to the week. I'll be posting a couple of cards this weekend so that everyone can check out. Now, I'm hoping if I don't get called to sub today, I will finally be going to Disneyland. I'll share with all of you tomorrow if I did go to Disney or not. Till then, have a wonderful day my lovely friends.

Birthday Card Challenge Entry

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone had a great day. I spent my morning by heading to church, then I made a detour to Michaels as they had a good sale starting today. They had the Buy One Get one for 1cent for certain items. One of those items was the Recollections Card Stock 8.5 x 11 Paper Pack that are priced at $3.99. I definitely took advantage and bought two packs. So pretty much I paid $4.00 total for the 2 packs together. I also saw that they started putting Halloween Items. I purchased a Martha Stewart Halloween Punch using my 40% off coupon. So stay tuned to see what I will be creating with this certain puncher. Anywho, I spent the rest of the afternoon working on some cards for challenges that I am going to enter today which I only have an hour or 2 to quickly enter it. Celebrate the Occasion challenge this week is #26: "Birthday (Must Be an Easel Card and Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is #73:Piece of Cake (create a project with a cupcake  or baked good). So I made a Cupcake Birthday Easel Card for my other sister-n-law who celebrated her birthday this past week. Since Cheetah is her favorite animal, I didn't have anything that came close to that, so her second favorite animal is a Zebra which was perfect because I was able to use my Create a Critter. Okay, sorry for blabbing too much, lol. Here is my card:

Cupcake Birthday Easel Card
Create a Critter: Zebra Size 3.5
Sweet Treats: Cupcake 1.5 or 2
Colorbok Paper Pack: Zoo

Happy Friday everyone! So excited it's the weekend already. I hope everyone had a great week. Today, we have another fun challenge at Cricut360. As you know, either many students are either back at school or getting ready to go back. What great way to celebrate the start of a new School year is by creating a card or a layout. Maybe, it's your first child entering kinder, middle school, high school, or even college and want to capture those memories by creating a scrapbook layout. How about a card for their teacher letting them know how excited they are coming to their class or a card for your child. Then this is the challenge for you.
I wanted to create a Back to School Card for my niece who goes back to school in 2 weeks. My niece Briana is entering the Third Grade and I want to wish her a great year. So this card will remind her to Rise and Shine and get ready for another great school year. I selected the Book Cut from Hello Kitty because I know she loves to read. I know my niece will love it.

Hello my friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday so far. I had a great day spending it with my hubby as we had a Movie/Lunch Date. We went to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It was definitely a good movie. Then we had a yummy lunch with a Margarita at Acapulco's Restaurant. Tomorrow, will be fun because we are heading to Bolsa Chica Beach to enjoy a nice relaxing time at the beach. Anywho, there are so many fun Blog Hops going on today and tomorrow especially the Back to School Blog Hop that I am participating in which I thank everyone for stopping by to check out my project. If you haven't got a chance to see it, just click the link above. Also, Cricut360 has a new challenge today called the OLD West and I created a fun card which I would love for you to check out if you haven't done so by clicking above.

Another hop that I went to check out today is Robyn at My Pink Stamper. It is called My Pinkalicious Blog Hop and the Design Team did some amazing projects and they have some great giveaways. I wanted to participate in the fun challenge because it is as follows: Show YOUR STYLE making favorite thing. It could be your favorite color combo, favorite cricut cartridge, your favorite technique, etc. I decided to go with My Favorite Cartridge which is Create a Critter. I wanted to create a shaped card using one of My Pink Stamper Punnylicious Stamps Set. This card is for one of my sister-n-laws who will be celebrating her birthday this coming week. I also plan to create another birthday card for my other sister-n-law who is celebrating the same birthday because they are twins. But one of my sister-n-laws would like a card that has a cheetah or something related to that. If anyone has an idea of a cartridge that has that or what I can use, any tips would be great. :)
