Good evening everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday. Today has been very warm in Sunny California as we woke up to rain and thunder in the morning. But, I know that the plants and animals needed the rain. Yesterday my husband helped me put together a video of my Craft Room as we were testing out my new Flip HD Video Camera he got me before we headed out to a birthday party. When I first started my blog, I posted pictures of my Craft Room. I believe much has changed since I added new things to my room. So here is a video of just that. Please be aware that this is my first video where I do the talking, lol and I might sound nervous. I hope to do more videos to come of some tutorials of projects that I plan to do down the road. Also, in the video, you might here some meowing, it is my cat Jack who sneaked into my craft room to get some attention.

Wow! I can't believe I'm only 2 followers away from reaching 300. It has been wonderful meeting so  many new blogger friends. I even got a chance to meet some blogger friends in person. One of the Teachers I work with has told me that once school is back in session, that I should display my cards in the staff lounge for purchase. I'm thinking of doing that. Cricut360 Challenge #5: Transportation

Hello my blogger friends. I can't believe it's already the beginning of a new weekend. Anyone doing anything fun today. Well, we have a new challenge this week over at Cricut360. It is called "Transportation." Many people like myself love to travel in the Month of August. What great way to share about where you are traveling too and how you are traveling there by creating a card or layout. Think about adding a plane, train, ship, or automobile which serve as a great way of transportation. 

My husband and I love to travel. We have been to Hawaii, Maui, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, New York, and Puerto Vallarta. But there are more places we would love to travel to such as Japan, Cancun, Europe, Brazil, Alaska, and so on. When we went on some of these excursions, we either traveled through Car, Cruise Ship, or Plane. Therefore, here is another different type of Step Card that I made for this challenge. I was really impressed with how it came out. I would watch youtube videos and check out other blogger friends to see or get an idea on how to make a Step Card. Here is a link to a blog where they showed a tutorial and Size measurements to make the card: www.MyCreativeExposure.com .I found it pretty easy which is great for me. I wanted to show a small plane overlooking beautiful parts of Asia. There is a little panda saying hello.

Bunny Blue Birthday Step Card Challenge Entry

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are all having a great day so far. As for me, I've pretty much had a laid back day spending sometime in my craft room working on some projects. This Saturday, my BFF's mom is celebrating her 50th Birthday so I wanted to make her a special card that is sweet but fun. I am entering this in the following challenges which will be listed at the bottom. This is my first time making a Step Card and I also made a different type of Step Card which will be seen this Friday as I hope you join us for Cricut360 Challenge.

Bunny Birthday Step Card:

Cricut E2 Pre-loaded Cartridge: Just a Note- Rabbit Size 3.5

White Card Stock: Size 6 x 10

Colorbok Design Paper Pack:  Blue Flower

For my Step Card: I took White Card stock measured at 6 x 10 and folded in half. I creased it with a bone folder. Then I scored starting at the bottom at 1", then 2", then at 3.5". Then I cut Colorbok Designer paper about the same measurements. But, I just cut at least less than an inch on each side to show the white card stock. Then I took some stripe blue ribbon and cut 6 to create the stems. I used Blue Prima Flowers to create a flower garden behind the Rabbit.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #25: Summer Sweet Treats Challenge

It's My Birthday Blog Hop Recap.

Good morning everyone! I can't believe my end of Summer Break is almost approaching as the students head back to school in the beginning of August. I also hope that everyone had a fun and amazing weekend. Over the weekend, I took a trip to Michaels store as I heard that they had cartridges that are going to be retiring soon. They were on sale for $19.99. Cricut360 Challenge #4: Outdoors

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe the weekend has finally arrived. This weekend is going to be filled with Birthday Parties on Saturday and heading to the O.C. Fair on Sunday with my sis for the Selena Gomez Concert. Today we have another wonderful challenge over at Cricut360. The Design Team and I have made some wonderful projects that we would love if you come over to check them out. Before I explain what the challenge this week is, I have to say what amazing entries we received. Everyone was very creative and definitely show how important parents are.

The Challenge this week is called "Great Outdoors." Your challenge is to create a card/layout thinking about the Great Outdoors such as farming, camping, Mountains,so on. You can use any Cricut Cartridge. So let's see what amazing project you can create and link it to Cricut 360 so we can hop over to check them out.


For this challenge, I wanted to make something that will inspire me to do it so I can build some memories. I would love to go camping. I've camped out before at the beach when I was a kids, but I'm thinking about camping that you do in the woods such as Yosemite or the Sequoias which I hope to do one day. So with that, I decided to make a Camping Layout.

Christmas in July-Day 2: Guest Designer

Welcome to Christmas in July Day 2! 

I thank you all for coming by yesterday to check out the first craft that I made for Christmas in July. I loved reading all the wonderful comments you have left me. Today, I get to be a Guest Designer again for two wonderful ladies: Cross My Heart Papercrafts: by Giselle and Nadias Beautifulmess:by Nadia where they will also be showcasing other wonderful special Guest Designers all week. So be sure after visiting me today to stop by. There will be some fun Prizes you can win.

Today's craft is to create Treats and Favors. As many probably don't know, I am a Teacher's Assistant for a Kindergarten class. I really wanted to take on this challenge because I always love to make something for the students. This year for Valentine's Day was my first time making them Valentine Treats. I really enjoyed doing them so I wanted to continue the tradition as the students go back to school in August. Therefore, I decided to make a set of Christmas Favors to get an idea of what I can make for the students and even the teachers. Here are these adorable Penguin Favor Boxes. Eventually, they will be filled with Christmas treats such as Holiday Erasers, Pencils, Stickers and for the teachers: it could be a gift card, candy, or lotion.

Christmas Favor Boxes:

Christmas Designer Paper Size 10 x 10
Then, fold each strip in half.
Then score at 1.5 on one side and 2.5 on the other.
Then you cute where you folded the strip in half.
White dotted Ribbon: Cut 10.5 by 10.5
Green and Pink Shredded Paper Grass
Candy to place inside boxes

 Covered each box with Holiday Paper.

 Then I glued a strip of Holiday Ribbon on each box.

 I used my Cricut Machine to cut out 6 penguins. 3 Girl Penguin and 3 Boy Penguins.

 I also used my Cricut Machine to cut out Candy Canes for the Penguins to hold.

 Now, I filled each one with Color Shredded Paper Grass.

Then, it can be filled treats.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #24: Shaped Die-Cut Challenge

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope that you are having a fantastic day. Today the Design Team and I over at Die Cuttin Divas have made some amazing Shaped Die-Cut Challenges. The challenge this week was to create a Shaped Die-Cut Card in which can be any cut as long as the card is not squared or rectangle. This was another fun challenge to do because I wanted to make a card for the special person in my life which is no other than my husband. He does a Summer Program for Low- Income High School Students in which he lives on Campus for 5 weeks to provide the students the College experience with College Courses, study methods, assistance in applying for Financial Aid, Scholarships, and more. So when he is gone, I wanted to make him a card in which I let him know how much I love and miss him.
