12 Days Of Christmas Blog Hop: Day 6

Welcome to Day 6: 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop: Day 6! Can you believe the Holidays are quickly approaching. What great way to start of the Season by visiting us for these 12 Days filled with Christmas Ideas. If you have arrived from Sandra's blog, you are in the right place, if not I would really love for you to start at the beginning with our dearest Host Sylvia.

This Christmas Season is the best holiday for me because I look forward to spending the holidays with my family and husband. But also to be able to give others as best as I can. My goal for this Christmas Season is to give back some how. I know that I am not able to help everyone but every little counts. This Christmas I would love to provide one child in need of a Christmas miracle by providing them with a back pack filled with items such as clothes, a toy, school supplies, and yummy snacks. I also want to find out about how I can go help at a shelter and serve food to the people in need. Truly these are my goals for this Christmas Season and hope to accomplish them. With these 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop, you will get to see some fun projects that I plan to send out to some kids or family and brighten up their day.

For this project, I took advantage at the sale at Michaels this past weekend for Black Friday and the clear ornaments were on sale. Now, I only purchased one but now that I made this project, I wish I would have purchased more. I looked at some of the examples that Michaels had Displayed and I wanted to create one for our tree. Since the theme that I plan for decorating our Tree this year will be Christmas Candy Theme, I wanted to choose red and green to create the ornament. Hope you all like it. This was a very fun and easy project to do.
Here are the materials you will be needing for this project:

First, take red and green acrylic paint and paint circle dots around your ornament. Let it set to dry by adding a piece of ribbon to hang up to dry.

Second, once it dries, I took the Christmas Ribbon from my friend Julie K who has a great collection of the Winter Bundle Ribbon from 3 Girls Jam. Be sure to check out her blog to purchase this great bundle of ribbon. Then, I hot glued a Christmas Striped Brad. Then, I added the red spool for the hanger.

Materials:
Christmas Clear Ornament: Purchased at Michaels
Acrylic Paint: Red, Green
3 Girls Jam: Winter Bundle
Red Spool Ribbon
Christmas Striped Brad
Hot Glue Gun
