Baby Theme Card

Hello friends! Are you having a fabulous night? I'm sitting here in my craft room relaxing after working on some cards! Can you believe I have been posting more projects this week. Hoping it stays that way! I know in a few weeks, things will start getting busy for me again. I have the after-school program starting up again and I will be working with 4th & 5th Graders. That should be fun! Good thing is that my kiddos who were in my group before know what I expect. :) Anywhoo, I made this card for a Teacher that I work with. She just found out she is having a girl. So I wanted to make a special card for her. Lucky for me, another friend of mine saw the card I made and wants to purchase one. So that means, I need to get right on it and make some more. So hope you all like it.

Hello! Yay! It's Saturday! Love the weekends because you can sit back and relax or head out somewhere. Today, I plan to do some window shopping. Can't really spend much but can still look. I have to save money because next Saturday, February 2nd, I will be attending the Scrapbook Expo in Anaheim, CA. How many of you who live in Southern California will be attending this event. Maybe I'll get to meet some of you there. I hope to be attending the event with some of my bloggy friends who I have met along the way. Valentine Bear Treat

Happy Monday! Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Probably many of us were off today! I work at a school so we have this Holiday Off. I spent my day with my Niece shopping and spending some quality time together. Tonight, I felt eager to create something which is a great feeling. I wanted to participate in some challenge out there. I know that Peachy Keen is having a fun challenge right now which is to create a 3-D Project that includes a Bear. The challenge closes tomorrow or Wednesday I believe. Be sure to head over their site to double check.  

For my project, I wanted to make a Valentine Treat Basket. I bought a pack of Basket from the Dollar Tree. I took one of those basket and decorated with Pink Card Stock and Valentine Designer Paper. Then, I cut a Bear at Size 4.5 from Create a Critter. I decided to make the bear's outfit by using paper and measuring it to the body of the bear. I use the DCWV Guy Stack Designer Paper for the Shirt. Then, I used a White Gel pen to create a belt and pockets on the pants. I also added some black shoes. Then, I added a Tie Brad from Eyelet Outlet Company. I used my Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face for the bear. The face was size 1-3/8. Then, I used some of my color chalk for the cheeks to make it blush. I took a Red Stripe Paper Straw and attached it to the bear. I added a Red Heart and stamped the Saying "Pawsitively Love You" from K. Andrews: All About Animals Stamp Set. Lastly, I filled the basket with red tissue and mini Snickers. Great gift for a guy to give their sweetheart for Valentine's Day.

Happy Saturday night everyone! Hope everyone had a nice week. Tonight, I got to spend sometime again in my craft room and wanted to keep up with making scrapbook layouts again. I am making an album specifically showcasing events that take place in 2013. My goal is to keep up with scrapbooking as much as I love making cards. 

The layout I would like to show all of you today is a Valentine's Day Layout! Hubby and I are still figuring out what we will be doing that day! Even though everyday is Valentine's Day for us because we make sure we say I love you. LOL I know, I probably sound cheesy. Anywhoo, I hope you all like my layout.
